HilldaleCONNECT is an opportunity to meet, fellowship, and learn about the church!

At this event you will hear about our church, meet our staff and some lay leaders, connect with other newer people, walk through the joining service details, and ask any questions you have about our church or membership or the UMC or whatever you can think of.

This is NOT a Sunday school class, but a once-a-quarter gathering event for those who have come to Hilldale and would like to know more!

We are called to be in CONNECTion with one another as we seek to live out our faith. HilldaleCONNECT is the first step, but not a required one, in becoming a covenant member at Hilldale UMC.

Our next event is May 12, 2024!

In short, Covenant Membership is a commitment we make to each other. The people of the church commit to supporting you and your family through your whole life in faith and every day matters. And you commit to “Loving God. Loving people. And making this world a better place” with and in addition to our church. We believe this commitment is an essential part of living in Christian community the way Jesus asked us to. And, real life change always happens in the context of relationships, with God and people and Creation. We would be lucky to have you!!

Well.... we would LOVE for you to join the church!

We will never pressure you to join the church "officially" but it is always nice to share a mission and vision as one family, and walk together in life.

Every quarter, we will host a Joining Sunday! This is a day that is set aside to celebrate the new individuals and families that are joining the church. You can join any time of year, but joining days are another great opportunity to walk together in our faith!

Our next Joining Sunday is May 12th- right after HilldaleCONNECT!
