Details and FAQs

The Small Groups will run for the Fall Semester (after Labor Day to Thanksgiving) and we recommend they meet bi-weekly (every other week) for 60-90 mins. Your group can decide to meet more often if you like. The groups will be made up of 10 or less people and we will intentionally leave some space in the group for you to invite people who may not have signed up or who do not attend our church. The day of the week and exact time of each group will be up to the participants and leaders.

Format and Content:

The format will be flexible and contain casual fellowship, service opportunities, prayer, spiritual growth, and discussion. The church will be recommend some curriculums but will leave leaders the opportunity to tailor their spiritual growth content to the group. Possibilities include video curriculums, in-depth Bible studies, sermon discussion groups, current events discussion as they relate to faith, and more.

Group Make-up:

When you signup below, you can state whether you want to be in a group that is just for men, women, or a group with both. You can also let us know if there is anyone you want to be in a group with. We will help you find a group if you need one and if you already have a group then we'll help you get started.

Safety Precautions:

As you know, we take the health and wellness of our people seriously. There will be groups that will meet only virtually, some only in-person, and others that will meet online or in-person depending on the week. Groups will have 10 or less people in them so there is enough diversity for good discussion while being small enough to be safe and foster deep relationships. Distancing and other precautions for those who elect in-person groups will be reasonable and creative so that we can continue to grow in our faith while remaining healthy.

Where Will We Meet:

Virtual groups will use Zoom to meet. In-person groups can meet at parks, homes, the church, or other creative spaces that fit their group.

None unless your class wants to use a curriculum or discussion content that we do not already own.

We want to see how many parents with small children are interested in a group and would like childcare. If we get enough signed up then we will come up with a plan to help the groups get together while providing a safe way for children to be cared for during the meetings.
