Mary Kate is an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church, currently serving as both the Associate Pastor at Hilldale United Methodist Church and the Director of The Wesley Foundation at Austin Peay State University, where she was appointed in 2023. With previous experience pastoring local congregations, Mary Kate is excited about this dual role, which allows her to expand her ministry. While active at her college alma mater, she never found a campus ministry that felt like home. She believes God has called her to APSU at this time to help students who may feel similarly—guiding them to grow in their faith, build meaningful community, and transform the world by being authentically themselves, as God has always intended.
