Explore the ministry opportunities for youth at Hilldale UMC

Hilldale Youth

We have an amazing group of students who make us proud and hopeful for what is to come in our world and faith. The best way to learn more about our program and get connected is to join us on a Sunday and see it for yourself!

Our youth programs...

Sunday School for all ages is from 9:00-10:00am every Sunday morning. All youth ages 6th-12th grade are invited to attend

  • Our lesson will begin at 9am in the youth room above the CLC! The topics of Sunday School vary by series on Sunday mornings.

Sunday Night Youth Group is from 4:00-5:30pm the 2nd-4th Sunday evenings through the school year. All youth ages 6th-12th grade are invited to attend.

We're excited to announce that Hilldale UMC and Madison Street UMC are teaming up to become one youth group! We’ve been pleased with the relationships that have begun to form between the students, and we look forward to combining the youth together for faith formation!

  • Programming is communicated via email
  • The goal of Sunday Night is to give our youth the knowledge of the love of God, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the communion of the Holy Spirit. The youth are then tasked with embodying the "takeaway" of each lesson for the world and using it throughout the week.
  • On fourth Sundays, we will have youth worship (always at MSUMC) where youth groups from nearby churches will be invited to join us for a time of singing, prayer, a brief message, and a reflective/interactive response to the message!
  • Finally, on the fifth Sunday, the HUMC/MSUMC youth will go somewhere to do something fun together!!

Special Events, Trips, Mission, & Retreats for all youth (6th - 12th Grade).

  • We have many special events, trips, retreats, and mission projects throughout the year. You can view the church's upcoming events page to see what's happening soon. We would also love for you to connect with our Director of Youth & Young Adults to talk through what is happening and how you or your student can be involved.
